We are now looking for a caregiver to join us at BUP department 5, Örebro.
We are currently seeking caregivers for the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry ward 5. The team working here is characterized by great commitment, extensive knowledge, and experience. Department 5 is a child and adolescent psychiatric ward with 6 beds and the entire Örebro County as its catchment area. We receive children and adolescents with severe psychiatric conditions for acute admissions. With us, patients are cared for together with their guardians, and the main goal of the inpatient period is primarily to stabilize the acute poor condition so that they can then go home and continue their care in outpatient services. At department 5, we work in a close-knit multidisciplinary team that, in addition to caregivers, consists of nurses, social workers, doctors, teachers, and unit managers. We actively work on development projects to safely and professionally take on our mission.

Job ResponsibilitiesThe job responsibilities include psychiatric care, including relationship-building, supportive conversations, and motivational work, as well as collaboration with our outpatient care and other care neighbors.
Additional InformationAs we in Psychiatry care about our patients and value patient safety highly, we will request extracts from the suspicion and criminal records from the National Police Board in connection with the recruitment process. QualificationsWe welcome you who are a trained caregiver/nursing assistant, preferably with a focus on psychiatry according to the previous program structure, or are a trained nursing assistant within the current program structure. You may also have completed caregiver training as a YH education. To assess employability, transcripts of your healthcare education and proof from the National Board of Health and Welfare regarding protected professional title must be attached to your application.

You need to have a good ability to express yourself both verbally and in writing, maintain high quality in your documentation, enjoy taking responsibility, have good collaboration skills, and sound judgment. We value an open and positive attitude, with the patient at the center. It is important that you are unpretentious, curious to learn new things, and see constructive feedback as a natural part of daily work for your and others' development. Contributing to the development and quality work of the organization is seen as a natural part of your job. Great importance will be placed on personal suitability.
